the bullshit projects (physical)

this is when we apply ourselves to put together some diabolical bullshit devices that they wouldn’t let you take on a plane.

usually the physical projects are based on an idea we had before, like the pepperoni cooker was when one of us put a pepperoni in the cd drive and we thought “what if it heated the pepperoni” and now we’re here, with a DVD drive that heat pepperonis.

actually useful stuff (software)

now THIS is where we put in real life effort. in the past, rainyware has developed some pretty useful software, mainly web apps for chromebooks.

a lot of our software is open-source available on github, however starlight and anything related are closed source, and will stay closed-source even after discontinuation.

we strongly believe that privacy is a fundamental human right, especially on the internet. we TRY our best to implement as much privacy features as possible into ALL of our software, however there had to be some compromises cuz of what happened. you can read our privacy statement here.
