rainyware believes that privacy is a fundamental human right, especially on the internet. and we TRY our best to give as much as possible. while big corporations collect and sell your data, any data we collect is purely for security or fully optional, and never leaves rainyware.

current software

starlight II

rainybrowser

rainybrowser has no connection to any rainyware server, it does not collect data that leaves your device. bookmarks are stored locally.

lagoney’s oil

think of it as a “private property no trespassing”. it logs IP addresses of every request, and IPs not linked to an account or downloaded from the public section are blacklisted. IPs from outside the US are blocked.

discontinued software

starlight 1

the portal and spisflix are static-only sites. they have no backend and don’t log activity in any way.

ToothpickTownToo did store messages and media in it’s database, but the database was never opened unless it was necessary. names are collected ONLY for account approval, and never displayed anywhere other than the admin panel.

about:blank launcher (1 and 2)

once downloaded, rainyware launcher doesn’t send data to a server* and had no logging or data collection from us.

*RWL 2 requests a font file from the server, but that’s now broken except on the 8/3 update github repo version
